Deploy static websites, landing pages, and prototypes instantly. Free, no account needed.

> **In a hurry?** One command, no install, no account:
>
> ```bash
> npx -y @shipstatic/ship ./dist
> ```
>
> Your site is live instantly, and the response carries a **claim link** to keep it. The **[Quickstart](https://docs.shipstatic.com/quickstart)** walks the whole path — publish, keep it, put it on your own domain — in about a minute.

## How it works

**01. Build** — Create your site with any framework or tool. If it outputs static files, ShipStatic can host it.

**02. Deploy** — Upload your files to create an immutable snapshot. Distributed globally, live in seconds.

**03. Domain** — Optional. Point a domain at your deployment. Switch between snapshots instantly, zero downtime.

## Core concepts

The platform is built on two primitives:

**[Deployments](https://docs.shipstatic.com/deployments)** are immutable snapshots of your static files. Once created, they never change. Each gets a unique name and an instant preview URL. They can be public (claimable, 3-day expiry) or owned (account-bound, never expire).

**[Domains](https://docs.shipstatic.com/domains)** are dynamic pointers that give deployments a permanent address. Repoint a domain to any deployment instantly.

Configure routing with an optional **[ship.json](https://docs.shipstatic.com/ship-json)** file (clean URLs, redirects, rewrites, headers).

Authenticate the [CLI](https://docs.shipstatic.com/cli), [SDK](https://docs.shipstatic.com/sdk), and [API](https://docs.shipstatic.com/api) with your **[API Key](https://docs.shipstatic.com/api-key)**, or use scoped **[Tokens](https://docs.shipstatic.com/tokens)** for automation.

Publishing is free. What each plan adds, and where to read current prices, is under **[Plans](https://docs.shipstatic.com/plans)**.

## Interfaces

ShipStatic is interface-agnostic — every channel speaks the same language:

- **[Web Console](https://docs.shipstatic.com/web)**: drag, drop, claim. Manage everything from your browser
- **[CLI](https://docs.shipstatic.com/cli)**: deploy from your terminal, or from any agent that can run one. `npx` means nothing to install
- **[MCP](https://docs.shipstatic.com/mcp)**: one URL, `mcp.shipstatic.com`. Drop it into any MCP client (Claude, Cursor, Antigravity, Windsurf, VS Code, Hermes, OpenClaw, n8n) and your agent ships
- **[SDK](https://docs.shipstatic.com/sdk)**: deploy from code (Node.js and browser)
- **[GitHub Action](https://docs.shipstatic.com/action)**: deploy from CI/CD
- **[Agent Skill](https://docs.shipstatic.com/skill)**: one file that teaches any AI agent to publish, with no account needed
- **[VS Code](https://docs.shipstatic.com/vs-code)**: all fifteen tools in agent mode, plus palette commands
- **[Plugin](https://docs.shipstatic.com/plugin)**: the skill and the MCP server, for Cursor, Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI
- **[n8n Node](https://docs.shipstatic.com/n8n)**: publish from any n8n workflow
- **[API](https://docs.shipstatic.com/api)**: integrate directly over HTTP

## For agents

Every page here is also plain markdown: add `.md` to its address, as in [/cli.md](https://docs.shipstatic.com/cli.md), or use **Copy for AI** beside any page's title. [llms.txt](https://www.shipstatic.com/llms.txt) indexes them all, and [llms-full.txt](https://www.shipstatic.com/llms-full.txt) is every page in one file.
